Ah, I remember making my first works page. It was for Barbie and the Diamond Castle, now that I think of it.
My first TVTropes page was for Guess with Jess. Not a very popular show I guess, only lasted one season :/
Hmmm, this is odd.

I tried to look for the leaked version of Hearts and Hooves Day on Youtube this morning, but all I got were tons of one-minute clips and a stupid 22 minute long looping video of Derpy doing something with annoying music.

Now I tried again, and the video I'm looking for is on the top of the list.

The only thing that changed are that I'm now using Kiki instead of Edison, and that instead of spelling out "My Little Pony", I just entered "MLP".

Come to think of it, on Edison, searching for a episode of the show never yielded any results- the only way it's gonna find something is if I wait for the link to get posted on EqD. On Kiki or even with Dongwa, I've much more success.

I wonder if Youtube takes your viewing history on the said PC and the OS into consideration when doing searches. The rig's history is filled with, among other things, TF2 machinimas. On Kiki, much of the history are videos of coin-operated kiddie rides or Japanese clock towers. Worse, I wonder if Edison has a virus that alters search results and can't be detected by Avast.

And this is another one I created today:

I'm pretty much proud of it, I've been collecting tropes all the day. Tongue And there are still many tropes left...
AWAY from all those rowdy kids at DSU. Time to reboot my life!

I didn't get my computer setup until now because yesterday was very tiring. Moving down from the fourth floor of a dorm takes awhile, and it makes your knees hurt. Sad

Along the way, I acquired Kipper's HDMI cable, Elsie's component cable, and a $99 home theater system from Menards. I always dreamed of having a receiver and speaker system, but the costs have been too prohibitive in the past. Then comes Menards, who had one on sale for $99. Claims "1000 Watts", but it's just a basic receiver powering two 120 watt speakers. It sounds great though, and it will allow me to use the old 2.1 home theater for Lilly.

The HDMI cable is a WalMart "Onn" brand. It was the cheapest I could find at a brick and mortar store. Only $12.99. Other basic HDMI cables range from $14.99 at Dollar General to $25+ at Kmart! Picture quality is great though, but I had to reconfigure Anna-Lena's picture settings. I had it on Vivid, and the colors weren't too overblown when it was set up previously. But after switching to HDMI, the colors are way too vivid and bright, so I had to turn down the color quite a bit. The picture looks great now. Smile

As for Elsie...what an improvement. Component video output is a lot clearer than standard AV. I haven't had to adjust the color settings of the Component input yet, but the colors don't look too overblown.

PLEASE NOTE: Below video is not "Hearts and Hooves" day, but 22 minutes of Derpy Hooves being Derpy Hooves.

You mean this?

I think it's cute. Tongue Amazing that Derpy is now an official character. Though best if you just watch for a few minutes. The Super Mario 64 Circus music likely will get annoying after awhile.

US$12.99 is about right. That's roughly how much those cables I got for Jess and Berlioz costs when converted to US$.

Wait til you switch to progressive scan (EDTV) mode. It looks way better than regular interlaced mode because resolution will be doubled.

Yes, that one. Please remove the link, no one deserves to be insulted by this when they're looking for the new episodes, thanks.

Why? I stated (though not really stated, rather implied) that it was the looping thing that you found. Someone else here may find it interesting rather than insulting. I have since edited the post to make it obvious below video is not the episode...in big bold letters.

As for Elsie, yes, I do have it set to EDTV resolution. Smile

Yeah, it is. And it was very frustrating to me since it was the only 22-minute video in the entire first 5 pages of search results. I felt like I was being taunted, as in "neener neener! You don't get to watch FIM!".

Alright. It wasn't my intention to frustrate you again...if that happened. Let us move on now.

I really feel like having a two-TV setup again. I can't let Max sit in a corner all by himself while Anna-Lena gets all the attention. Once I rebuild that TV stand, I should have room for two TVs. The main problem with Max here is that he only has digital coaxial audio output, and it only outputs ATSC signals, not video/component inputs.
