No, it's not very romantic. I was trying to be silly, not romantic, and I came up with those things without much thinking. There wasn't enough room for the "not know what you said" part.

Ohh, I'm going to have too much fun with these.
Weekend again. Finally.
Hmmm, someone wants to pick a fight with me

Maybe some TV network out there should create a show called RAMChYLD Vs.
David, I finally understand your whole "Fluttershy is Madeline" thing (though I still never want to see that avatar again as long as I live). I'm watching today's new SSCBBA episode, and it seems that Grumpy from AiCaL has been reborn as a berrykin mechanic.
Stella Grapes Wrote:Peppermint Fizz: With my apologies to the voice actress should she ever come across this, this is the least excusable. She was good for a long time and dived off the enthusiasm board toward the end, especially when 2007+ Peppermint was not being an antagonist. Her old spark was back in the Growing Up Dreams episodes, which makes me think the actress had more fun with Antagonist Peppermint. Edit: My avatar reminded me that Peppermint's voice was good in Around the Berry Big World, too, and she was definitely more of a protagonist then, albeit a gloomy protagonist. Somehow, 2007+ Peppermint when she isn't being an anti-hero, irritated, or in shock is reading a script half the time and there really is no excuse for that because the actress did not make those mistakes when younger.

I don't know what are you talking about, though I must admit, I'm unlikely to detect errors in voice acting, due to I'm not a native English speaker.

Rest assured, I especially liked Peppermint's voice. On a sidenote, I think Peppermint is one of the very few who was fortunate enough to get a berry good voice actor for the Hungarian dub as well: Zsófia Ungvári, I think her voice is similar to the original one.

I don't say that in general the Hungarian voice actors are particularly bad... they are just... not good. Tongue The original voices are way much better. Take Ginger Snap - her Hungarian voice is pretty cute, but still, she always speaks in absolutely normal speed - absolutely no attempt to convey Ginger Snap's Motor Mouth characteristic from the original.

Btw, maybe I've already linked it before, but I can't stop listening to this masterpiece:

It's just soooo beautiful. Smile

I think I know what avatar you are talking about. I thought it was kind of a strange avatar, but nothing too strange. I pretty much figured it out right away. Wink

As for the other SSC topics...the only one I do know about just by watching the few 2003 episodes I did see is the switch of personalities of Pupcake and Custard that happened with the 2009 SSC. I would have to report back to you when I finally get around to ordering the 2003 SSC DVDs off of Amazon, and that won't be for another couple months at the latest.

Next post is about Wendell....it was his one year Birthday today. Unfortunately, I have to celebrate his birthday tomorrow since today we decided to go to the nearby casino on the Indian reservation. In short, it was fun, and I didn't blow any savings or any other necessary monies on gambling.

I couldn't enjoy Angry Birds or Bejeweled on Fluttershy while on my road trip today because of THIS! And these aren't the free versions...these are apps I PAID FOR.
Which reminds me of Ubisoft requiring players who legitimately bought Splinter Cell: Conviction and a few others to have a constant connection even for single-player mode. Hell, that forced disgruntled gamers to either boycott or get the SKIDROW cracked release as it was reported to be a tad better than the legit release.

If you have the balls, root your tablet. Or exchange it with something that isn't as locked-down as your current tab.

Well, if that berrykin's Scott McNeil, then yeah, you've figured out how "reincarnation" works in my mind somewhat (it's actually far more complex than that, requiring a deep understanding in the Java programming language, especially inheritance, abstract classes, and recursion).

Actually, I don't even use it anymore. I gave up on it when my feelings for the show turned rocky after they introduced Discord, and the subsequent fallout at TVTropes.

That reminds me of my last vacation.

See, Steam more or less requires the same thing.

Except that it has an offline mode, which allows you up to two weeks of being able to play your steam games without an internet connection before they force you to go online again to update.

The catch: You have to go into offline mode while you still have an internet connection. I'm not sure if this is a bug or by design, since you are offered the option to go into offline mode if Steam fails to connect to it's auth servers, but selecting the option just results in a glaring error.

I made the mistake of not going into offline mode while my WiMax dongle was still working while still on the mainland, thinking I can go into offline mode once I lose Internet connection.

Nope. I ended up lugging the laptop to the restaurant area at 10 PM to get an internet connection just so I can activate offline mode. Then lug it back to my room. All this so I can have a game of Duke Nukem Forever that night. Trust me, it is not a good idea to play games with scantily clad ladies, chestbursters and other sort of extreme gore in public over here.

Well, unfortunately, I really can't exchange Fluttershy even if I tried. I do like the idea of rooting the tablet, but then, I get scared I will end up bricking her into uselessness. I was able to successfully root my old Pandigital Novel tablet, but it didn't improve performance over the official firmware releases. I could have installed the Google Play market, but since the old tablet has no hardware graphics acceleration, there would be no point in doing so. And, Fluttershy's model is a rather obscure Polaroid model and last time I Googled, there wasn't much information as to actually rooting the device. I may have to search again, but still....I'm afraid something will go wrong with the rooting process and I will get a bricked tablet. As for Lexi, someone was able to write up a custom flash file that was already rooted, so rooting was as simple as loading the firmware onto the SD card and initiating the standard firmware flash routine. No command lines needed.

Fluttershy is a low-end Android tablet, but she wasn't cheap. She was $99, marked down from the regular price of $179. So yeah, she does have great power and performance over old Lexi (the Novel). So it's not Fluttershy at fault...it's the Amazon AppStore and their ridiculous requirement to have you either connected to WiFi, or have you sign in to your Amazon account before playing the apps. And since I already paid for those apps, I don't really want to root her and switch to the Google Play market which would require me to purchase said apps a second time.

I just got done searching Google, and found a page on the Amazon forums.

Apparently, these apps require an internet connection every so often to update some stuff like scores or whatnot. I hope that is true, which will give me a little more freedom. I was able to play Angry Birds offline before, but that was back in January. I will go ahead and test that though and see if it works.

Fluttershy, besides the Amazon AppStore and lack of Google Play, is rather open. You can freely install many different app markets and install actual APK files from the file manager.
