DOTA2 is out? Steam suddenly allows me to download the game O.o

Oh, nvm, it's the full client, but there won't be any public game servers for it until a few months later. WTH?

Assuming that DOTA 2 also made use of shared Source assets as with most Valve games.

I finally figured out, sort of, what I plan on using all three of my computer systems for.

Greta - The main system, where I do my web browsing, games, video editing, Photoshop stuff, and whatever else I need a computer for. I am starting to get a hang of Adobe Premiere 2.0. Without the limitations iMovie imposes on you, my videos can become even better...if you are into odd video remixes of internet memes, and old cartoon/TV shows. (That is the idea of YouTube Poop) I can make standard, sane videos too.

Lilly - My secondary system. Will be used for Mac-only applications, running legacy Windows apps through Parallels Desktop, printing stuff, scanning old documents, DVD ripping, video conversion, and screencapping. May come in handy for picture editing if Greta is busy or somehow is out of commission for awhile since I do have Pixelmator.

Wendell - The netbook-in-laptop-shell. He will become my main MP3 music box, and will also be used for creating audio CDs and ripping CDs to the mp3 format. NOTHING beats Winamp. Vox simply doesn't cut it for me. He may also be used for screencapping as well if Lilly ever has problems. And, if I ever get an external USB sound box, he may be used for recording audio off old tapes, records, or even the radio...if he is up the task. If not, then Lilly will do that.

All three systems will share the same screencap and music collections, synced manually with a flash drive and lots of manual double checking. None of that "cloud" stuff.

I was thinking of rearranging my computer desk setup, but decided not to since I'm afraid either Lilly or Greta may not get good enough air flow to stay cool.
