Well, I have been successful in watching some movies during the evening to help me keep my mind off endless internet use. However, I have since gone back to school, and I even have a 120 hour internship at a radio station on the reservation (a good locally owned station, not a corporate jukebox, but I digress), so on some nights I may not watch movies or TV shows.
I will do my movie/TV viewing mostly on the weekends, which for me, are from Thursday night through Sunday night. I will try to squeeze in movies during the week, but depending on how tired I am or if I have some homework to do, I may not be in the mood to see a movie. Instead, I may find time to play some casual games on Greta or my game systems.
This really isn't any sort of solid schedule, but it's the best I can do to balance my school life and home life. Besides, I need to begin watching my massive DVD collection anyway, or play all the games I do own.
Now, the movies that I have seen so far...
"The World of Hans Christian Andersen", a rare 1971 animated film from Japan. Cute to the max!
"The Point", also from 1971, but this one is somewhat special. I remember seeing parts of this film on my local PBS channel on Thanksgiving Day 1994 or 1995. It wasn't until 2004 that I tracked down what it was, ordered it from eBay and watched it. Seeing it again, it's a excellent animated film that deserves more attention.
"The Legend of Hiawatha" An hour long 1988 animated film based off the song somewhat. Nothing too special, but interesting nontheless.
"Alice of Wonderland in Paris". Here is an interesting title...from my favorite animation director Gene Deitch. Adaptations of several children's books with a wraparound involving Alice wanting to go to Paris.
