You really went through a lot to get Eva...but at least you are current with her. I worry though....will it be another year before iOS6 becomes obsolete after iOS7 comes out?
Though Android is going through many version changes like iOS, Android 2.3 is still supported by many apps, and Android 2.3 is about a year older than iOS5.
But enough about me rambling about Android. Instead, I will now focus on my possible future tablet and new games I have discovered.
Sometime today, I will put Herman on the backburner and make him a secondary tablet, and have two tablets ready like you do. This setup is good for one thing..... testing out Amazon AppStore updates before I sync them to Fluttershy. Another update to AB Seasons came out, which happens to be the very recent version that ended up crashing the first time around. Did this new update fix things? Nope. Still crashes on startup. Not even a Rovio logo. Fluttershy WON'T get this or any other AB updates until the startup crash is resolved, or if I ever hear back from Rovio. My support ticket has not even been picked up, and it's been a week! Oh, and one Amazing Alex update came out, and Amazing Alex is from Rovio as well. The update works fine. No startup crash. This leads me to believe that the AB update issue is with Amazon's build of said apps.
About Amazing Alex...it's some sort of physics puzzle game where you have to use certain objects (like shelves, books standing on end, balloons, etc) to move other objects like tennis balls into a basket or to have said balls knock down a cardboard box robot. Bonus points if you collect the three stars along the way.
Other games of note:
Where's My Water?
A game Herman only can run despite having the same GPU as Fluttershy. You have to channel water down to an open pipe near Swampy the Alligators shower tub so he can take his shower.
Cut the Rope
Almost ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin....you do have to cut a rope, but that rope holds a piece of candy, and you have to cut the ropes in a perfect order to get the candy down to a cute dragon-thingy named Om Nom.
Fruit Ninja
You have to slice fruit being thrown in the air by swiping your finger across the screen. One problem...Fluttershy's touch screen requires very firm touches in order to slice the said fruit. But I'm afraid to press very hard out of fear of damaging the touch screen layer or her LCD screen! Luckily, this is a game Herman can run decently...and the stylus helps slice the fruit well.
Lil' Flippers
Some neat swimming game with a dolphin I'm still trying to figure out. The game has a unique touch screen control system to move your fish up and down or to slide on waves.
Bouncy Mouse
A cute game where you have to launch your mouse off of small posts to grab cheese and make your way to an evil cat, which you have to hit.
Pinball HD
Okay, this game isn't in true HD on Fluttershy, but it runs well. I have the same game on Greta and Lilly too.
Other games I have are the three BabyFirst games (Shapes, VocabuLarry's Things That Go Storybook and game app related to book), Bejeweled, two Bejeweled clones, all five AB apps, though two don't work because of that crash issue.
As for a tablet upgrade on BF, it's possible if Menards or Kmart has a good reviewed tablet with a capacitive screen. Then again, last year, by the time I got to Menards, the Polaroid PMID700 was already sold out. It wasn't until January that I bought the PMID700 as a used store display model, complete in box.
