I'll explain what happened later, eventually. I was sick for a bit. I shouldn't tell people when I'm sick. They worry too much, and I'm all right!

Good to hear you are now doing fine.

Perhaps I should tell about my father a bit. As you know, he had to go in for cancer treatments last fall. He finished a few weeks before Christmas, and he is doing well here at home, recuperating. It's slow, but recovery from the treatments is occuring.

We don't know if the treatments got rid of his cancer yet, but things are looking good so far. I still worry about him at times though.

Next to the fact that they're pandering to the bronies so much that their core MLP toys business is failing, because instead of paying their designers to create new ponies, they're putting in all their money into the TV show, which IMO is seriously broken. Seriously, no more E/I mark!

Why do people hate him so much? Especially David?

Hmm...

The main reason why I tend not to hate on Bieber is that he was basically a typical teenager who's videos of him singing covers of various songs were being uploaded to YouTube. Then a talent scout finds them and he began his climb up the celebrity ladder. That doesn't happen every day...or at least it didn't happen every day until Bieber was found, but I digress. At first, I thought it was pretty cool for a young teenager to live out his dream as a singer. But as I am now catching up with him, he is apparently starting to get a little carried away with pop star status. There are reports of him using drugs. He says he isn't using drugs, but we don't know for sure. He was also caught speeding at over 100mph, and got ticketed. Bieber says he was trying to outrun paparazzi.

For the record, I don't care for Bieber's music. I tried listening to him, and he just sounds like any other manufactured pop star in the world today. If Bieber does go down the ethical and moral drain like many other pop stars before him, I wouldn't place the blame entirely on Bieber. I would instead blame the recording industry and perhaps the people who hired him or boss him around making music. Bieber himself could be at fault too, but who knows for sure besides him? Money can do strange things to a person.

Perhaps in the future, all the hate for Bieber may be justified, but until then, I won't hate on him like others. Unless he makes a fool of himself somehow.

Everyone aspires to be famous, but with fame comes problems you may not be able to get over.

Because his songs pushed my berserk button because the lyrics didn't click with my beliefs, and the current Malaysian government (which I have bones to pick) supports him? You know what they say, the friend of my enemy is my enemy.

I don't really understand Gangnam Style either. I tried watching it, but didn't even last 30 to 40 seconds.

Then again, I don't care for K-Pop, or techno, or whatever Gangnam Style is.

That's not the point. The point is the current Malaysian government supports him as well...

Agreed on Wade. I can say that I do delight on bashing Bieber, but yes, it would've been better for him if he didn't end up being a tool of the music industry.

And Dave, save the drama for RKO. You are getting way too irratonal for your own good.
