Hey, Angel! Welcome back!!
In regards to my own computers, I have a Gateway NV57H83u laptop and a Mac Mini Mid-2011. The Gateway is named "Greta", while the Mac Mini is named "Lilly".
Greta is nowhere near as powerful as your Alienware PC, but she works well for my needs. Very basic Intel Pentium processor and Nvidia GeForce 610m GPU w/Optimus, but the games I play are mostly the casual type, like Bejeweled. The best part? I can finally run Webkinz on my laptop. My previous Toshiba laptop couldn't even handle Webkinz, which is part of the reason why I got the Gateway last May. However, I do need to get her a RAM upgrade this summer. Her current 4gb RAM is a cause of occasional slowness.
As for Lilly.... She is probably a tad bit faster than my laptop at times. That Mac Mini was the most expensive thing I have ever bought... and I think it's worth the price. Lilly usually does tasks that my laptop can't handle, such as video encoding and eventually video editing if I can ever get a 64-bit Windows 7 to dual boot with. Greta actually does the video editing tasks at the present, and although it works well, it takes ages to render a video in it's final form.
Here are the full specifications of my current computers:
Greta - Gateway Laptop - Windows 7 Home Premium
Intel Pentium B960 - 2.20ghz dual core
350gb Hard Drive
4gb RAM, upgradable to 8gb
Nvidia GeForce 610m with Optimus (switchable graphics)
Intel HD Graphics 3000 (switchable integrated GPU)
15.6 16x9 LED-backlit Screen (1366x768)
Lilly - Mac Mini Mid-2011 - OS X Mountain Lion
Intel Core i5 - 2.3ghz Dual Core
500gb Hard Drive
8gb RAM (upgraded from 4gb)
Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPU
BTW, Angel, Have you heard of Webkinz before?
