Looks like I'm going to have to locate the tag for my Webkinz seal, as I now have to adopt a new pet in order to use many of the features in Webkinz world. I'm now a "basic" free user with limited access to games and features like some courses at the Webkinz Academy and having a limit imposed on my items bar.
I would like to upgrade to Deluxe someday, but not until I can afford to pay the yearly price.

You know that Webkinz features a lot of games, right?
Previously, just about three or four of those games were free to all registered users who adopted a pet within the past year. Now, only a handful of games are free, not counting the ones that require pet adoption.
It's like they are trying to push out Deluxe memberships, which cost real money. That is probably true, but as of now, I can't afford to get a Deluxe Membership!
I also think Webkinz needs to become a desktop app. As it stands, it's a browser program that uses Adobe Flash, which tends to be a resource hog. Forget about using Webkinz on an entry-level low end laptop with an Intel Atom or AMD Brazos APU. Flash runs horribly on such a system, as my former laptop Wendell can attest to. Greta and Audrey can run Webkinz fine, but the game does tend to chug at certain points where there is a lot of graphical stuff going on, but it still plays well. Lilly was best at Webkinz as Flash programs ran very well.
Still, it would be nice to see this become a desktop app using Adobe Air. There is no performance hit from the overhead of the browser, and you can convert Flash programs to Air programs.
I'm getting performance issues with Innerstar University, too - it's either that the controls become unresponsive at times, or the lengthy and incessant loading screens, which are quite a drag even if you're on a reasonably fast connection.

As for me, I'm still trying to find a job. Not many jobs where I live though, unless I would like to toil in a fast-food restaurant, where I vow never to work in.
My computer tower, Audrey, has returned to the web, thanks to acquiring a $6 USB WiFi adapter from eBay.
Technology is so wonderful.
