I got the panel replaced because the crack also broke the touch sensors in that part of the screen. RM700 poorer because of the fact. And this is a third party repair shop. Apple wanted twice as much for repairs.

I can never be fine with a surface. I'm not even fine with Windows 8.1. And I'm still unhappy with Windows 10 because Cortana will not be available in Malaysia, as will the other premium XBox services (why the hell do I need XBox Live Gold, which isn't available in Malaysia, to watch Youtube?!? Or use Facebook and Twitter!?!).

Her name is Stella Grapes, by the way. She's purple.
Whenever I need to upgrade from my current laptop, named Greta, it will always be white in color. I don't know why, but a white Windows-based laptop just looks good to me, even more so if it has blue accents or LEDs. Smile

Though the problem with light-coloured devices is they tend to stain rather easily.

I haven't had any permanent stains with Greta's white plastic case, but dust and grime does appear more often. It's simple to wipe off with a damp cloth while powered off. Wink
Decided to swap out CRTs with that free one I mentioned earlier.

This is a Sansui 27'' DTV2760C, similar to the other Sansui CRT I was using for a year or so, manufacture date of April 2008. I switched sets simply because this one has component video input along with standard composite and SVideo. There is also an integrated ATSC digital tuner as well.

I have my various retro clones connected through Composite, while Lars and Elsie use 480i component. The picture of PS1/PS2 and Wii games is amazing. I decided to use SSC 2004 streaming via Netflix for Wii as the example picture.

The annoying part is that the rear composite/SVideo and component inputs share one audio input. :/ I have to connect the famiclones through the front, which looks a bit messy, but it works.
Give me my sweater back or I'll play guitar.
Not sure what happened. Maybe I accidentally changed a setting somewhere, so I need a bit of help.

Usually when I put my PC to sleep the monitor will turn off along with it, but recently it doesn't. This makes me have to press the monitor's power button. How to set it back?

Are you sure the monitor was powering off when you put your PC to sleep before? When I put Ruby to sleep, her monitor goes into sleep mode. The monitor is still on, but the power light changes from blue to amber and the LCD shuts off. The PC isn't telling the monitor to go to sleep... it's simply cutting off the DVI/VGA signal to the monitor. The monitor doesn't detect any input and goes into sleep mode.

I never heard of a PC that could power off a monitor before. Can you get the brand and model number of your monitor? And have you updated any graphics drivers recently?
Hmm, I guess I worded it wrong.

Usually, when I put the PC into sleep mode, the monitor will display a mouse icon with 5 dots below it, which reduces one by one like a countdown. After all dots disappear, the monitor will deactivate (Or is this actually monitor's sleep mode?).

Now, when the PC goes to sleep mode the monitor will display a keyboard icon with an "i", and the icon just floats around the monitor endlessly without the monitor deactivating.

Hmm... strange. It seemed to go into sleep mode before, but now, from what it sounds like. The floating keyboard icon thing is new.

If you can find the monitor brand and model number (usually on the back panel) I can look up a user manual and find out what those icons represent.
