In other news...
Patsy is now hooked up to my HDTV, and it's all looking good. I just need to find a bluetooth gaming pad and I'm all set. I have Steam installed, and it's currently downloading Pinball Arcade. I have it installed on Lilly already, but it's really such a great pinball simulator.
As for Ruby, I'm currently mulling plans on placing her in storage until I can find a use for her. I found out that I can deactivate the licenses of my purchased Magix programs. I could do this for Music Maker/Studio as GarageBand fills my audio recording needs well. I'm undecided on Magix Movie Edit 2015. iMovie works for basic editing jobs, but I have to convert my AVI files to MP4 first and it's not suited for YouTube Poop videos. The best software would be Final Cut Pro X, but it's $499. I would have to start saving up again for that.
I'm also thinking of using Lilly for my main computer along with handling audio recording and basic video editing. I would keep Ruby around for the more advanced video editing if I choose not to pursue FCP X. That would be cumbersome since I would like to use Lilly with DVI video output. I can switch between DVI and VGA on my monitor, but I would need to keep another keyboard/mouse nearby. I have a KVM switch, but it's VGA only. DVI KVMs are expensive.
This will take time to sort out, I feel. That's not even counting what will become of Greta and Pablo if I decide to go for a Macbook Pro.
In short, I think I'm finally converting to Mac OSX for daily use. That's not to say I will get an iPad and iPhone. I won't go that far since iPad/iPhone is still far too limited for my tech tastes. I'll still be an Android user, plain and simple.
