So the My Little Pony app was released today.
The good news is, it supports iOS5, at least for now.
The bad news? It rubbed me the wrong way by reverting Luna to Nightmare Moon and having her as a villain. A VILLAIN IN A FARMVILLE-STYLE GAME! Which makes no sense since THESE FARMVILLE-TYPE GAMES CAN HOLD UP WELL EVEN WITHOUT A STORY AND DEFINITELY DOESN'T NEED A VILLAIN!
Well, I'm going to try pushing on and see what happens. If it goes iOS6-exclusive, I'm ready- I've pulled some strings and managed to get some help from relatives in Singapore. Just sad that Eva will have to be left out like that tho. And that I'm going to try to find RM2,000 to pay said relative back (yes, two whopping thousand Malaysian dollars)
The Best Medicine > Magic. Because SCIENCE! can prove the former.

But which one to choose?
Walmart and Kmart have loads of discount tablets on sale for BF, nearly too many to choose. All of them I seen have capacitive screens, which is good. The troublesome part is finding reviews. Many of these tablets won't be released to the public until BF, which means hardly any reviews exist. There are a handful that have reviews though, and so far, they seem to rate three or four stars.
Kmart has a "Maylong" Android 4.0 tablet for sale that comes with a neat case as well as a keyboard too. But some Maylong tablets have horrible reviews, so I'm not sure I would go for it. If I had extra money to burn, I could buy it just for it's stand and USB keyboard.
However, Kmart will also have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 for only $177.99. That is a sweet discount on a name-brand tablet, but it's not quite there. If I had just a bit more money saved, I could have went for it. And there is that HypeAversion as well....I try to stay away from the crowd and try to find a discount tablet that works for what I want it to.
I'm still waiting to see what Menards will have for BF, and if they even will have a tablet. If they do have a tablet, it could possibly be a Polaroid or a generic no-name. Menards loves generic no-name electronics from China.
Before I decide whether or not to get another tablet, I have been testing the usefulness of my current tablets. In short, Fluttershy seems to have the best battery life and touch screen, while Herman is slightly less so. She also has better performance benchmarks for games and speed. Herman seems to lag at times, and games don't run at a full smooth framerate. But, Herman can run 'Where's My Water?' while Fluttershy can't. He also has more internal memory...4gb. I attribute Fluttershy's better battery life and performance to Android 2.3. It's not the latest version, but it doesn't suck up as much resources as Android 4.0 ICS. Android ICS is wonderful and has better usability than 2.3, but if the hardware doesn't run it well, what's the point of using it?
Thus, it's really hard to decide if I should switch back to Fluttershy and keep Herman as secondary, or just get a new tablet altogether. By the time BF comes, I should have made my decision.
I love foxes, especially the one in my avatar.

So my brother recently started playing FF XIII and I watched him sometimes. As far as I observed, the game seems nice. Battles are fast paced and feel real, and they have nice character development. I begin to wonder why it drew a lot of hate.
