I think I'll try the Glockenpop overdose method this time. Caramelldansen overdose doesn't seem as effective this time around.

I have returned early, with the babies. Long story. Here, have a different long story.
My husband is [strike]insane[/strike] impulsive. Of course he is impulsive. Only someone impulsive could fall in love with me.
If you'll recall, Novie Nell has been a camp counselor. Or, in translation to how a certain sequel called Stellar Winds will chronicle it, Plum Puddin' was head of a ranch house this year. Well, as she is living with us these days, we went to pick her up to join the vacation. Specifically, James went to pick her up after the rest of us settled into the rental house since this was intended to save on time and she was then fairly close by.
Hours and hours later than expected, Somnus and Plum came to the rental. Oh, and they returned with an additional child.
B.C., to use her initials, is eight years old. She was one of the youngest campers. She never knew her father, her mother died from drugs, her grandmother died from age, and her grandfather's health has been rapidly worsening. He will not live for long, and he is no longer in any condition to take care of a child.
Guess who volunteered to take her in, for the time being?
Yep, my husband. He is so calm about the situation.
"We can take care of her," he says, with a smile of belief. He says this like he is saying, "We can blink our eyes and breathe through our noses."
The log cabin... cannot be finished too soon. (That said, the place we live now is the largest house she will have ever lived in. She at first thought the rental was our permanent home. Good news is that she and Benita already are having fun sharing a room.)
As for my sister-in-law's friend: what with all of the unplanned goings-on, I barely noticed her!
---
Reading this, I realized B.C. has Banana Candy's initials. I am not sure how to describe who she acts like. She doesn't act like anyone who likes books, because she made it clear several times that she does not like books.
Her exact words were, "I hate words!"
 She was talking about reading, not talking. Someone warned her by saying, "You're going to have a hard time fitting in with this family if you hate reading!"
Oh, no. We are not giving her a hard time. We're accepting people. We'll give her reason to love reading once we figure her personality out more.

I like the voice of the narrator of Kenny and Goorie. It almost reminds me of Spot (well, alright. It reminds me of the Spot kiddie ride with the correct sound board on it. Sad to say, mine has the "wrong" sound board because the previous owner has cluelessly modified the ride to have a different sound board after the original broke. I'd like to obtain the original sound board sometime tho.
The ride currently sounds like Emily Elizabeth (assuming the voiceover on the Clifford ride is supposed to be Emily Elizabeth- the voice sounds nothing like the Emily on TV).
Helen restoration process has resumed. My aunt has bought an M4N78 Pro board and a matching Athlon X2 6400+ off the internet which should be arriving any day now. I've also ordered an array of other parts from the internet. All that's left now is for RAM, and I guess I'll be buying them from Crucial since DDR2-1066 RAM is practically nonexistant over here. The GeForce GT520 has also already been attained and is waiting for installation.
Hmmm, looks like I'm back to my original plans.
However, due to the processor not coming with a fan, I'm outfitting the thing with a huge CoolerMaster Vortex Plus fan- it's the cheapest fan I can find with the correct PWM 4-pin lead. Overkill? No kill like overkill I guess.

Our one air conditioner just runs through the whole house. It's not the old bulky type. I don't know how old it is. It came with the house when we moved in, in late 2008.
B.C. and Benita continue to get along. They're very silly together. Taking things one day at a time as far as the big picture with B.C. goes.
Log cabin can officially start getting built in two months.
Still no idea what to do about schools and that's not good.
