Friday.

I changed my mind. I not only refitted Dongwa with the original pair of 160GB hard disks that belonged to Clementine (and Helen), I put him on RAID-1 like Clementine, and proceeded to put OpenSUSE back on. The 320GB hard drive is currently sitting on a box near a bunch of toys, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

I'd love to see how fast he could fly at this settings Tongue

Could you turn the 320gb HDD into a portable drive if you could get a DIY enclosure? That's what I did with Jasper's old 160gb drive and my new 320gb drive. If it's a full size drive, it may need an enclosure with an external power brick.

So far, the things I have learned from Roku HD:
1: International TV networks are far more interesting than what's on most of the American TV channels, even if I can't understand what is being said.

2: NTV Bangla still has those good Bangla commercials on late at night. During they day, they cover those ads up with US-based ads. These mostly advertise restaurants, pharmacies, and law offices that cater to the Bangla communities in NYC. So many attorney ads..... is that an industry in NYC?

3: BabyFirstTV on Roku is like BabyFirstTV on Dish. I wish it were in HD though.

4: I hope my ISP doesn't have any data caps. It's a small rural ISP, and I don't think they have data caps yet.

I wake up in panic attacks. I'm better after I take my medicine. It always wears off hours before I wake up, though.

Query: What would you guys think of me and James as your parents? Imagine yourself younger, around four to twelve years old. I can't do anything about the uncle. Alternatively, what would you think of us as your parents now, presuming I still struggle with my mental health when my children are grown?

I could, but I don't really see the point given that I don't have much data to store anymore.

Nope. Malaysian TV still sucks. The news are all biased to muslim countries (ie constant condamning of Israel and constant pandering to Palestine) and full of government propaganda. I'd do anything to get PBSKids, even if it has it of the old one tooth. Can't take one more day without Arthur.

NTV... I don't care if it's the wrong NTV. Even worse is that it's catering to ther f******ds that helped the corrupt government win, illegally. NTV7 can go f**k off and die. NTV-anything can go f**k off and die. How dare they cancel Arthur!

Understood. Sorry to bring back memories of the TV network you hate. Sad Not my intention at all, as I completely forgot about it.

Remember, the main reason I got DishWorld was to get access to BabyTV, which won't be available when I get my own place. The cable TV monopoly here doesn't carry niche networks like that, and the only way I could get a DishWorld package was to get a bouquet of international channels, and the Bangla package works fine enough, and one of the few least expensive options.

I never seen Malaysian TV before, so I can't really compare it to the channels I get from Bangladesh, though I will take your word about them. I could actually add more channels to my service, but then it would start costing a lot like basic cable service as international channels here in the states aren't cheap to acquire. $20 for four Bangla channels, but I do get 18 other English channels for free, including BabyTV. Overall, it's cheap compared to channels from India, which costs $44.99 a month.

Oh, and Prue... I need time to think about your question. I'm not entirely sure how to answer it.

Well, that's not an easy question to answer. From what I've heard from you about James, he's more or less similar with my own father so I would be fine with that.

As for you, I have no sure answer. Perhaps I would be worried about you everyday and do everything I can to make you better, both physically and mentally.

There is a "Power Kracker 2013" on eBay right now. It's one of those NES-on-a-chip game pads with loads of games on it, like the "Power Player Super Joy III".

I wonder if I should go for it or not.

If inaccuracies in NES compatibility outweigh its truckload of games, why even bother?

According to the video review, the games appear to play fine with typical Famiclone sound innacuracy, which I am used to. Remember, I collect Famiclone systems. Tongue

I remember going to a mall when I was younger, and there was a kiosk there selling the original "Power Player Super Joy III" and they had one on display playing "Super Mario Bros". I was kind of wondering how it worked since at the time I didn't know what a Famiclone was, and it appeared to come out of a N64 controller. I should have bought that thing, but I believe they wanted $30 or $40 for it, and based on what I know now, that was sort of steep for a cheaply made device that tended to break easily if not used carefully. I also didn't have any money, and I doubt my parents would have bought it for me.

The Power Kracker has no cartridge slot. All games are built in. It only has around 70 I think which are repeated to make "76000". If I get this, it could prove useful if I find myself in a hotel room and want to play Mario or 1942. Smile
