I totally understand why you say this and all, but I just kinda wanted to say I know some wonderfully intelligent and beautiful people who work in those sorts of places. If you had to work in a place like that just as a in-between job to keep money coming in between bigger jobs.. I know I wouldn't respect you any less. No matter how hard everyone works jobs like that are needed, and important, and deserve respect. ^_^

Thank you, all!

I have a half-sister who is an adult but young enough to be my daughter. (Raspberry, not Plum.) She has never had a job because she feels starter positions are beneath her. :|

Odd. I would like to get a job in the computer technology field, but before that, I need a starter job like working at the local grocery store or Subway. Besides, where I live, computer jobs are almost non-existant. I'm required to get a starter job just to get on my feet.

The main reason why I never want to work in a fast-food restaurant, besides Subway, is that I'm afraid I would get sick of the food I normally enjoy once in awhile. I still hold respect for people who do choose to work there, which is necessary for me to get my McChicken sandwich every now and then, but fast-food is just not a job I would personally enjoy. Subway is an exception since you just make sandwiches according to a customers order, and the only cooking involved is heating frozen pizzas, baking bread and breakfast stuff, and the various hot sandwich fillings. That is a fast-food place I can work at.

I've been scammed. Cry

There is no little boy in a wheelchair.

Though I didn't lose any money, that was an evil trick to play on someone and I am very depressed.

Prudie is literally the best, and they are literally the worst. I honestly had a moment of just shocked realization that someone could do such a thing to you. I know you'll score some serious karma for this somehow.

Well, my rant feels silly now. I know I'm the odd one but no matter HOW much I have it, I never get tired of Taco Bell.. I really like it..

I really need to take a picture of all my recent Strawberry Shortcake pickups. Around this time of year I always start getting a ton! It's what people know I like. ^o^

Sad

It's good to hear you didn't lose any money, but if possible, you should still report the person or "organization" to authorities, so they can see if any legal recourse can be taken. Whoever did this to you should be punished to the full extent of the law.

So sorry to hear about that. Really, I am. Sad This is the worst time of year to scam someone.

Working good as I can see your message. Opera was a wonderful web browser back in the day... now they are just a stupid Google Chrome clone. Sad It feels just like Opera gave up developing their own browser, which was unique and had features that the Google Chrome base lacks. In time, they could have made Presto just as fast as WebKit/Blink if they tried, but nope. They had to go the lazy route and re-badge Chromium instead. I digress...

Around my area, there is Taco Johns as well as Taco Bell. Taco Johns is largely a midwestern chain, and to me, their Tacos and other offerings taste better than Taco Bell. Then again, I'm probably biased since I never had much Taco Bell in my life. Taco Johns does have one item that is wonderful... "Potato Oles".

Go for it! These pictures would be interesting to see. Smile

I need to pick up collecting those 2003/2004 SSC DVDs. I only have a few.

When I was young, things were a lot tougher for me. Taco Bell was like, really exciting when I was young! It was this rare treat and it was so tasty to me! Whenever I eat it, not only do I really like it now but it reminds me of being so excited about Taco Bell night! I know it's not so good for me and it's probably not the fanciest ever but it's a super big emotional happy for me.

That's... depressing. Sad

I kinda feel your pain, because I just experienced a very depressing thing this day. I will be fine, I can get back on my feet and move on, and I really hope you can too.
