Intermittent time-outs may even happen because of browser errors or DNS cache of the local ISP, etc. To get this examined in an escalated manner and preserve security of your own data, we advise you to contact us via Live Chat or ticket system.

Please note that if your domain is hosted with third party vendor (using their DNS servers) you need to address the issue to them in this case.

Grapes, I read in the Computer's thread that your old Macbook has been retired. I'm kind of surprised to hear that you got a new PC Laptop. I'm (naturally as always) curious as to what brand it is and whether or not it has the new Windows 8. Greta, my PC laptop, has Windows 7, and I bought her from HSN TV right before they started selling new laptops with Windows 8.


Does your old Macbook still work decently, or did it run into problems again?

Make sure to keep the Macbook around for sentimental value. I still have Chrysanthemum with me, and if her motherboard didn't die, she would still be in use today. I thought about sending her in for repair, but since I got Greta, I don't think it's worth it.

Speaking of Greta, her 1 year birthday is on May 7th!! And since Greta meets my needs extremely well, she will be with me for years to come. Lilly turned 1 this past September.

Nah. Just modify the /etc/apt files and do a sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade. Works wonders for me.

I guess we might as well switch to a new host some time. Chris told me that he's planning to dedicate his web space to TGTAP and the recent downtime problems kept him and us from enjoying the sites.

The domain name will still be kept as it is, but the host isn't. He did recommend this, though:

The issue would be funding and advertisements. We can go with donations and advertising, but I'm not really that sure on how that would bode with us.
