I decided to give KMPlayer a spin, and I tried to test the screencap feature for DVDs. The problem is every time I try to grab a single frame, the program freezes completely, and I have to close it with the Task Manager.
Do I have to set up KMPlayer a certain way before screencapping DVDs? I found a guide that states you have to disable a "KMP Video Transform Filter", but it seems that covers one particular screencap method... having KMPlayer automatically screencap as you play the disc.
I'm looking to just screencap single frames from DVD. Have you encountered this freezing issue, or does the procedure above also work with single frame capture?

Oh no, I haven't encountered the issue. ;-; I wish I could help.
Also sorry for the not posting. It isn't my usual reason for not posting. this time it's just the whole like.. not having a harddrive reason. Should be fixed soon. I'll try to help more with problems once I do.
