I should change my nick to "NeedCoffeeMan". Since my brain cannot work properly without coffee Tongue

Good luck with that. The frag tape on my sensor bar lasted exactly one year before finally deciding to lose it's adhesive properties and let go

(actually, it should be called the "Emitter bar". It senses nothing and emits two constant-on IR signals through two LEDs that the IR camera on the Wiimote detects).

If Cleopatra takes after her parents' vocal chords, she'll be able to SING extraordinarily.

I'm jealous. I can't imagine a blend of their voices in one person singing, no matter how much they duet, and I know genetics don't work that simply, but I'm jealous.

I would probably blame that on the tropical climate. The tape on Elsie's bar is very sticky, and since I live in a moderate climate, it should hold awhile. It sticks good even to the shiny bezel.

Well, it's either the climate, or the fact that I kept yanking it off the TV and sticking it back because it didn't look straight

Screw holes in the back of a flat panel TV can help you easily center a Wii Sensor Bar!

As I mentioned to David earlier, I was able to line up Elsie's sensor bar with a screw hole that is visible when you look above the set.

In the image, the cord appears to be off center with the screw hole, but it's actually not that far off from dead center. I had to take the photo sideways to make the screw hole visible to point it out, and it makes the cord appear farther off than it actually is.

So, if anyone else here needs to perfectly center a Wii Sensor Bar, try to find a screw hole at the top of the set in the center. Align the cord of the sensor bar with the hole, and viola!

Because of this, I only had to realign it once, ensuring the grip tape on the bottom is still very sticky.

Edit: Make that twice. I since moved it so the cord is dead center with that hole now.

Seeing as how the original Anna-Lena will eventually leave my possession, I have decided to trim the "II" off Anna-Lena II. Thus, she will know be known as Anna-Lena.

I would just name her Anna, but her character shares two different names in two different countries, which I mentioned before in this thread. I just bunched them together since they are the same arctic hare anyway!!

Oh, for Sandy..

You're welcome. Glad we were able to help!

Man, I can play games in 3D just fine, but playing a game in 2D can induce motion sickness?

I suspect it's the lighting in the game. The ligts were flickering on and off.

The same goes if you play certain levels in Doom 3. Troll

It goes further back- Quake II had the same kind of flickering, and I got motion sickness from that too.

As well as the post-test levels of Portal.

I'm beginning to suspect it's not just the motion, but a combination of the motion and lighting. I just realized that because I just felt the same sensation while driving home late just now (long story. I drove to Borders at the IPC Shopping Center to pick up this month's Sparkle World- I will be away from home for tomorrow until Tuesday. And I've never driven home from that distance this late before).
