I'm Scorpio Rabbit. Add the element Fire if it's of any relevance.

Quote:SCORPIO RABBIT: Very proud individuals, these rabbits put forth their best in whatever endeavor they choose. Their seriousness can be mistaken for aloofness. Through appearing mysterious and shy about personal things, they are not. A Scorpio rabbit is quite often an inspirational character and can be a pillar of strength for rabbits.

I wonder how many times that last sentence is said about rabbits.

The Netherlands is crazy. Can LG really barge into people's home and confiscate the PS3s that people bought with their own money just because the judge say they could? As much as I hate Sony, this comes across to me as bullying and violation of human rights and privacy.

Well, David, I thought of Pi Day myself this year and I found it surprising that no family members were born on that day.

Saint Patty's was fun. You gotta love cheap Saint Patrick's jewelry from cupcakes, poofy hair, Grapes' hairbow and gloves, and pretty normal (professional) green clothes. The next holiday is April Fool's, and if new people thought I looked interesting on Saint Patrick's Day, they've not seen anything yet.

This is the eighth day since my niece's birth. Dee and Ben are both at the inn now, with Dee making several trips to the hospital daily. In these kind of extreme situations, I have no idea why hospitals do not provide in-hospital housing for parents. . . or at least mothers, a.k.a. nursing machines. I say this as a former nursing machine who lived like that for a short time, albeit in much less of an emergency situation, and I say this as the daughter of a deceased resentful former nursing machine. I'm not sure how far away the hospital I was born in was from the home I lived in as an infant. I do know some sort of health officials tore my birthplace down years later, and that makes me wonder!

I also wonder what Cleopatra is thinking. I have a feeling, since she only recently opened her eyes, that what she's thinking is "AAAAH! BRIGHT LIGHTS! GREAT POWERS THAT BE, WAS IT THEE WHO TURNED ON THE INFERNAL LIGHTS?"

I bet she's thinking that in the language of babies.

You know, there are all kinds of odd stories about when Ben's birth and what followed. He was born early, later than me and earlier than the twins. The first thing he did when born was pee all over the place three consecutive times. This greatly irritated our mother, who wanted nothing but a bath. (I can't say I blame her!) Ben apparently wailed nonstop for months, which has to be an exaggeration because he'd have lost his voice if he truly wailed nonstop for months, and it turned out that he was allergic to milk. Interestingly, he grew out of this allergy. Not long after the milk allergy was discovered, he caught a very severe case of chicken pox and started crying "nonstop" all over. There were red pox in his eyes and mouth! Before the chicken pox, he had sucked on his two middle fingers for comfort and he couldn't even do that with pox all over his fingers. I bet that's why the pox spread to his mouth.

I didn't catch chicken pox until I was a child, not a baby. My case was so mild that I thought I only had a bunch of mosquito bites. I remember naming the mosquito bites and later worrying about catching the pox after it started going around again. Every year, chicken pox spread like crazy. That year, after I had come in contact with several kids with pox, Ben scared me with the story of his own chicken pox and I was worried to bits. It was after the spring season had passed that I realized those "mosquito bites" were very mild pox.

Ben continued to suck his two right-handed middle fingers until he was about seven years old. I remember screaming when he would touch things with wet fingers, like food or me. The only reason he stopped was because others were bullying him for it. That didn't stop people from saying, "I bet he still sucks his fingers in private!" He didn't.

Cleopatra, you were born to the age of improved medicine and anti-bullying. Enjoy.

It's good to see you again, Prudie. It's been a while since your last visit. Glad that your newborn niece seems to be doing fine.

I've seen the news about that, David. But I think I've seen somewhere else that the court order has just been reversed.

Perhaps this is what Felicity did after receiving a layoff notice from her employers. She didn't run amok, though.
