RAMChYLD Wrote:Man, I no longer miss the "good ol'" days of dial-up now that I am technically experiencing it firsthand. I even have to use dial-up connection to get Violette to use Wallace as a USB modem. See, that's how tethering in Symbian works. No USB router nonsense like that of Android. Although, Wallace is capable of speeds of up to 7.2Mbps at 3.5G, but my cellco throttles my speed to only 1.5Mbps if using 3.5G. But as it stands, the only signal available to me at the moment is a spotty 2G GSM signal.

I thought some Android Phones could be used for tethering without using a USB router.

Oh, here is my Christmas Gift report...
My Christmas Gift report:

-Atari Flashback 4 Console
-Sega Genesis Ultimate Portable Console with 40 games built in
-Angry Birds Calendar
-Angry Birds Collectible Figures
-Angry Birds Hoodie
-Angry Birds Shirt
-Angry Birds Stocking Cap
-3 Gift Cards for RadioShack, McDonalds, and Subway

So much Angry Birds, and I LOVE IT!!!

Also, the Sega Genesis Portable has a SD card slot for downloading additional games from AtGames when and if they become available. That's not all. You can also load your own Genesis .bin ROMs on there too. I don't download ROMs of licensed games, but I do go after the Chinese pirate homebrews. To test the SD card, I downloaded "Sonic Jam 6" and "Super Mario World". "Sonic Jam 6" is SNES SMB1 with Sonic instead of Mario, and with horrible controls. "Super Mario World" is a lazy hack of another Chinese homebrew called "Squirrel King", which from what I read, is actually quite decent. The SMW hack? Same gameplay as "Squirrel King", but Mario now throws crates and fireballs to destroy enemies and fights a huge Bowser who teleports at will. Only the first two worlds were hacked with SNES SMB1 graphics, and the remainder of the game is the same as "Squirrel King", so Mario ends up romping through random Jungles and cities defeating Monkey's and other non-Mario enemies.

Wonder if someone would do the same direction with BSNES, but this time, in the case of emulating the Genesis.

I never experienced that error message Sandy. I only got on late this afternoon.

Anyway, Wendell has served his purpose. He is now no longer part of Eisbär Corner.

So long, Wendell. You will now serve a greater purpose... being my sister's new laptop.

As for your Princess Cadance storyteller David, remember to pack extra batteries next time. Wink

It's not that. She was defective >Sad

I already tried several sets of new batteries and she still sound drunk.

Then I pulled her battery compartment out and that broke the wire the connects her mouth motor to the voice box -.-

Ow.

That Princess Cadance seems fishy though. Hasbro toys are usually built well yes? The wires that go to the mouth motor shouldn't break that easily unless the battery compartment was tugged on perhaps. It really could have been defective workmanship too.

If I ever get one of those storyteller figures, I now plan on being very careful about replacing batteries.

Oh, and here is what I used my RadioShack gift card on...

A "Werx" blue patent leather tablet case and stand! The second photograph could be better as it shows Daffodil attracts dust and fingerprints from all points of the known universe. But I have a microfiber cleaning cloth for that. Wink

No, it's legit alright, Licensed by Hasbro to KidDesigns. I'm thinking it might be a defective unit.
