Two New iPhones, a watch and a wallet. That is the Apple of today.

Oh, the Classic iPod died today.

I might not like iPods because of their limitations, but the Classic iPod brought MP3 players to the masses.

And yet I'm grinning not because the new iPhone has been announced, but because Chinese cloners released cosmetically-identical knockoffs based on leaked specs and parts days, or perhaps months before Apple's big announcement; internal components still remain off-the-shelf (i.e. running Android 4.2 or 4.4 and a Mediatek SOC) though.

Ashens should review one of these newer iPhone knockoffs. It's been years since he last reviewed one.

Connie is wonderful for mid 90s CD-ROM games, but some games bring on a minor annoyance. Her monitor is normally set to "Thousands of colors", but some games will switch this to 256-colors to run. Some games switch it back to the "Thousands" setting when closed, while others don't.

Guess it's time to create an alias for the Monitors control panel then. Big Grin

I have a Surface tablet and keyboard! It's purple! Typing this, I dub [strike]it[/strike] her Stella P. Grapes.

Bad news is my license expired and I keep failing the retests. This is not the first time in my life that happened. On my sixteenth birthday, I passed driver's tests on the first attempt. Through my entire adulthood, I have taken multiple attempts to pass. I feel I am stupider as an adult than I was in my youth. Everyone else says I have anxiety as an adult that I didn't have in my youth. Most of the people who say this did not know me in my youth, however.

I have sworn to never buy anything Microsoft ever again if I can avoid it. It's personal tho (something to do with Microsoft denying the country access to all the services on a Surface, making the device nothing but a fancy doorstop in Malaysia).

As for your driving license, it happens. Don't give up!

Congratulations on the Surface! They are pretty much a laptop and tablet in one. If you can get a stylus, maybe you can start drawing stuff. Smile

I do hope you got the Intel version though since the lesser-expensive Surface tablets can't run the majority of Windows Desktop programs. As for me, I will skip on the Surface and get a good ol' laptop if I ever need a new one. Greta is still working great. Smile

Do you plan on getting a Mac again eventually? Before your old Macbook died, I seem to remember you preferred Mac OS over Windows.

Then again, you may just want to stick with Windows. Apple isn't the same as it was when your old Macbook was made. They keep coming out with new products every year and find ways to force their users to upgrade, either by having their current devices slow down or removing support for a device that is barely three to five years old. If it's Apple for me, it's anything before 2006 now. I recently acquired a Performa. Her name is Connie. She is wonderful.

I never want a drivers license. I have this fear that I will end up in an auto accident since I can get distracted rather easily. I also don't feel like dealing with rising gas prices, car insurance and maintenance. It's public transportation for me.
