Grapes says "estúpido" more than once in the Brazilian dub. A friend of mine who lives in Brazil told me a while ago that "dumb@**" is a harsher swear in Brazil than it is in the United States. Is "stupid" not any harsher there than it is in the states, or in fact less harsh?

James is thinking a show on Animal Planet about cute kittens is the greatest thing. Guess who started begging for kittens? James said, "Girls, the kittens are staying on the TV, where you can turn them off and walk away instead of having to take responsibility for them."

Oh my love, they're not satisfied with that answer and I knew they wouldn't be.

Sandy, have you vanished?

I'm right here. I've been preparing for tomorrow. I have to make a good first day impression to everyone at my workplace, right?

Wish me luck.

GOOD LUCK!

By the time you're reading this, your first day will have come and gone. How was it?

WHY did my brother take up piano playing? I can see that it's his new favorite thing now, and it's better than most of his old favorite things have been. BUT hearing him pound out the most random of music which he composed himself while he says, "I am GOD!" (only once and sarcastically, I hope)..... I hope he gets into an orchestra that gives him a piano in a building somewhere else so the rest of us don't have to hear him practice here!

First day wasn't so special. I was asked to study the project the team is currently working at, so I will have sufficient knowledge about the project by the time they give me real assignments.

Well, congrats! But on the other side I hope all of you won't be overwhelmed by the task of raising multiple children.

We'll be fine, and thank you. We're good with large groups of children. James helped his mother and stepfather raise his seven half-siblings, the eldest of his siblings being eleven years younger than him.

My country's independence day ended a few hours ago. Lots of calamity happened in our house during it, because the people who shot the local fireworks shot them right where my house made for a perfect viewpoint. This resulted in several people coming into my home, plenty unannounced, and overstaying their welcome all day (despite no fireworks in the day) and through over half the night. The last of them only recently went home. We had planned for guests, just not that many for that long!

Now we're even more motivated to have the log cabin finished by this time next year, though that would be quite a miracle.

That said, the firework location changes every five years.

Five years from now, our luck probably still will be better in the cabin. I don't think anyone would agree to start a potential forest fire.

I was looking up at the fireworks, thinking as I thought years ago and again last year,

"This world is so big. My embryo is so small, the size of a miniature pencil tip. How amazing. Something so small is alive in such a big world."

Hawthorn Jam grew on me, as a name for my unborn child's parallel. Grapefruit Jam is also a possibility. Maybe I'll actually wait and see which parent my new son, if I have an Emmett Phillip, resembles more!

As for a female name, I was drinking guava juice and thought of either Guava Blush or Guava Chiffon. I'm leaning toward the latter. Guava Blush would make Guava the other half of Peach Blush, which would be cute. Guava Chiffon, on the other hand, could more easily tie in as far as parallels go. Another daughter's middle name, first name undecided, would be Jacqueline after James' mother. Nyxie Chiffon works, because it simply means night sheets. Chiffon has a double meaning: a type of sheet fabric and a type of light fluffy cake.

All those name choices (except for my mother-in-law's character's name) are subject to change, of course.

I keep drinking fruit juices... and eating breakfast food at dinner... and I got so sick at the mall yesterday. That was not any fun at all. I'll spare you the details. I'll just say people were worried and I don't think the mall is eagerly waiting for me to visit again soon. My previous pregnancy didn't make me sick this early on. Every pregnancy is different, though, and bodies are known to rapidly, well, deteriorate between the age I was then and the age I am now.

Here's hoping I will stop getting sick soon enough. I have things to do! I can start resting in January, unless the baby is as early as its cousin and comes around the end-of-year holiday season... Let's not think of that! Baby, you're staying right where you are until I tell you otherwise!

 LOL, that's not helpful!

(David, Madeline's name as an option is a coincidence unless it's part of the universe being weird again.)

Edit:
Madeline won by a landslide, at just under 50% on the online poll and just under 60% among people asked elsewhere. Millicent came in second place, and Jemima had very few votes. Madeline's final syllable would rhyme with "glen", after a person, not ending with a "wine" rhyme like the name of the little girl in Paris. It is a rather odd coincidence nonetheless.

I've temporarily gone back to eating meat, just a little meat. Emmett or Madeline is not a vegetarian, even though I am. I want my baby born healthy.

Even burgers are square now - KFC and Wendy's make square burgers.
