As for teh Power Rangers, yeah, I did watch that show, and probably had an action figure or two, but the idea of five dudes in spandex boarding a giant mecha battling monsters doesn't ring that much of a bell in my opinion.

Not to mention that their spandex are made from mini-explodium which triggers whenever they get hit.

Drivers downgraded to 275.33 on both boxes.

I got my 0.5 points in Windows Experience Index points back

I also figured out I can fix the flickering problems with the 275.33 drivers on Edison by forcing Team Fortress 2 and Garry's Mod to play at settings not recommended for my card i.e. Force 4x Supersampling and 2x MSAA instead of Trilinear sampling and No Anti-Aliasing.

And Helen can shut down properly again.

Thank you!
Smile Ohh, are there blackberries in the cake? Also, is Augustin her first name or her maiden name?

 I've not paid the show enough attention to notice. I just thought the show was made without decent effort.

I hope you napped.

Well, blood test results are in from a laboratory that claims 95% accuracy. I've heard mixed opinions about it. Some say it could be a scam. Everyone we've spoken to who have actually tried their testing say it works.

Oh my goodness, I have to take a break to write down what I just overheard! You see, Dee has for months been trying to find the PERFECT nativity set. The search has brought a lot of odd conversations, like when she said a Saint Joseph figurine she found looks scary. I said, "No, I don't think he looks scary. He just looks too old for his wife, not scary... Oh dear, I worded that wrong. How can you say he's scary when he actually looks a bit like James?"

Right now, she's debating on the Magi's animals.

Quote:Dee: "What do you think of this elephant?"
Novie Nell: "Erm, I really think it looks psychotic."
Dee: "Surely you're joking. I think it's spectacular!"
NN: "That makes sense. You do think Ben is spectacular, and he's psychotic."

So much laughter went throughout the house, hearing that, including Ben's laughter.

All right, returning to what I was saying, we -

Quote:James: "All of these animals are terrible, to tell you the truth. The best sheep are the confused 'burnt marshmallow' sheep, bleating. That's not good."
Dee: "This is why I like asking for your opinions! It's funny!"

What a project. Normal nativity sets are not hard to find. Nothing is ever perfect. Besides which, getting different individual figurines from around the world is going to make the finished set look strange no matter what.

Anyway, I was saying that a laboratory called Tell Me Pink Or Blue has given their results. It cannot find the number of boys or girls. It can only find out if there is Y-chromosome DNA in me, thus telling us if there is at least one boy.

It said there isn't. I don't know what to think. Maybe my third female chromosome made it harder to tell. What are the chances that we would have the same type of twins twice? (To give an answer, much higher for than us than for most. It would still be odd!)

If the blood test shows to be wrong this fall, we will get a refund.

When I first met James' mother, she showed me his school picture from the 3rd grade. I said, "Awww! He was a marshmallow! I want one!" I still want a son who is like a miniature version of my husband. Yes, I realize we can't just expect these sort of things. Destiny is going to do what it wants. Even so, the son we have now needs a brother.

Don't misunderstand me. Girls and boys are equally loved by us. I'm just saying it would be more fair to have at least one boy, and I don't want to worry about disappointing James Senior or James Junior.

My husband was happy with today's news. I still worry. He's far too nice to say if he's disappointed in things we have no control over. This aside, I have to admit that my heart happily sang at the news. I am feminine, after all.

Quote:Dee: "Which is the best of these three camels?"
Benita: "That one's okay... That one's okay... AAAAAAAH! NOT THAT ONE!!!!"

Yeah I napped. Otherwise I would fall asleep in church, and that would be very embarrassing.

Suddenly I feel like I'm going to cry this morning...

Whatever is wrong, I give you my sympathies. I have been crying. I've also been crying about crying, and crying over sadness and happiness both.

Edit:
Please ignore my deleted pickiness. I'm the type who uses "99.9% germ cleansers" twice to ensure everything is clean.

You're not the only one who feels like crying.

Oh good gravy, we need happiness! Sandy, I offer you a million thank yous and apologies. It was a complete coincidence. I had no idea!

We need new animal crackers: a tuna fish named Luna Tuna, Mr. Psychotic Elephant, The Burnt Marshmallow Sheep Choir, and Crazy Camel. They can be the world's best animal crackers ever!

In all seriousness, we really are all very blessed with reasons to be very happy.
