Well, it got worse. Clementine's PSU decided to follow suit and went out in the same spectacular way Kiki's died- with a bright flash, loud bang, smoke and smell. I'm starting to suspect a Mor Kwai. Either that, or I'm having a really bad month.

I took a nap today, and I dreamed of Prudence coming over to my house. Many things happened, but like always, I forgot the majority of my dream. Though I remember showing her a picture of Mocha Chiffon and Lunaris, and she was not too happy about their design...

This is starting to sound strange. Were Clementine and Kiki hooked up to the same UPS by any chance? It's very strange that two seperate PSU's would just explode within a week. It obviously can't be a power surge since a UPS should suppress such surges, unless if the surge protection circuit in the UPS failed and allowed such surge to go through. If a surge protection circuit in a power strip fails (not the same as a UPS, but also offers protection), you can still use the power strip like you would normally, but there wouldn't be anymore surge protection.
I love foxes, especially the one in my avatar.

I apologize on behalf of my dream-self.

I've had weird dreams lately. The other night, I dreamed we had moved into the log cabin, December 2012, even though it was half-finished with gaps in the walls. When I say half-finished, I mean that it wouldn't realistically have stood up. We thought it was fine, because [strike]we were stupid[/strike] it magically wasn't falling down and the weather was like summer weather despite everything.

So, it was Christmas morning and everyone in the house who wasn't a child turned into a preteen, and we all played with toys and read science-fiction books together. I do not know how the youngest understood the science-fiction books. Probably the same way the house didn't fall down, unexplained magic.

During this, a man saying he was a child psychologist came in.

We asked how he could come in with the door locked, forgetting all about the huge holes and gaps in the walls. I told you, we were not smart in (most of) this dream! Well, we were all apparently smart enough to understand science-fiction and not smart enough to have very common sense.

The "psychologist" did not answer, and instead set about destroying every single toy in the house. He claimed toys were bad and hurt people, when no one was trying to use them destructively except for him. He would swing the toys over his head, magically cause them to get bigger and fragile, and then break them on the floor.

The family ran in a bedroom, to the top of a bunk bed, somehow all fitting on the top bunk and shivering together in fear. The crazy man ran after us, delighted to find more toys to break in room shared by children. He continued on his rampage, at one point mistaking Brooklyn and Benita for very tall lifelike dolls (despite their screaming and running). James and I swiftly rescued them in less than a second, by pulling them back up to the top bunk through what can only be described as the speed and strength of parental love.

I was extremely angry after that, and I interrupted the crazy man's rampage by yelling, "NO! Other people don't use every toy they see to shatter into glass and try to cut people! The only person who does that is YOU!"

He actually stopped his rampage, looking at the family he had scared. Remember, in this dream, we were all children. Several pairs of tearful eyes quietly pleaded with him to leave them alone. His own eyes filled with tears, and he turned into a very little boy of about age three. He picked up an action figure that fell out of his own pocket, and said, "Fine." He then grinned mischievously. "He's going to hell," he said, referencing his toy. With that, he exited through a hole in the house and left.

My family then sang a song about everything perfect.

That was a bad dream!
It's now Christmas morning!
Look at the flowers outsiiiide!
Now life is perfect, perfect paradise,
And it will never, ever, ever go awaaaaaaay!

Oh my gosh, my dreams shouldn't sing. That was so corny.

James asked me the next morning if the "psychologist" was anyone real or, in James' words, a generic confrontation to protect my family. Neither the adult nor child version of the destructive guy looked like anyone, so it must have been the latter. I do wonder what all that dream means. It had so much detail.

Why on earth won't those guys think about doing an Android port?

Too much Strawberry Shortcake can do that to you.

Gotta love the LampshadeHanging tho.

Last night's dream was, for all intents and purposes, a train wreck for me (not that all my recent dreams are train wreck).

The dream started with me somehow finding out that UniFi will finally bring in Boomerang, IN MARCH 2012. And Stanman was threatening me on this forum that if I don't get to watch the September 17th premier of MLP:FIM (well, official word. Turns out the wiki was vandalized), he's defaulted Fluttershy's husband and I'm a world class loser. I proceed to lament about it to just about everyone I saw in the dream. Now, like Prue's dream, I was very stupid in this dream too. Why I didn't just lower the banhammer on the jerk (after all, this IS a Strawberry Shortcake forum, NOT a MLP:FIM one) is beyond anyone's guess. Then again, why didn't any other admins lower the banhammer either is beyond anyone's guess.

Next, I dreamt I was attending some sort of prayer for the Hungry Ghosts Festival (which is what's going on this month, btw. That's why Chinese folks are being extra-superstitious and staying away from risky activities and making sure they're indoors before it's dark). My grandpa was lighting some joss sticks and stuff, but I do not recognize any of the names presented on the altar.

Next, I dreamt that I accepted a new job as a lecturer at some fancy campus. I was made to go around and do various un-lecturer-like things like collecting janitorial items. I also dreamt that my colleagues from my previous workplaces sent me farewell e-mail and I was regretting my decision to quit my old job.

I was actually more tired after I woke up than before I went to bed. And also very confused.

She was. Although her explosion came after I changed to a new UPS because the old one apparently died when Kiki's PSU blew, although a new fuse eventually rectified the issue.

Is it even available in the Filipino App Store? Since as I've said thousand of times before, these app store nonsense tend to be region-locked to hell. Just like how that SSC iPhone app isn't available in Malaysia due to it being region-locked to US-only. Heck, I'm not even allowed access to Plants vs Zombies for Android, since it's only available on the Amazon App Store, which is region-locked to the US only. And I needed to use MarketEnabler to be able to buy stuff from the Android Market, since Malaysia has no Cellcos that is part of the Open Handset Alliance.

Hmm, let me see. Had to reboot my OS to Mac as I'm currently working stuff out as of now. As far as app stores are concerned, regional restrictions are the reason why I'm forced to pirate paid apps and/or get free stuff as .apk packages rather than snuffing them off the Market. But then again I do make use of that service from time to time. That is, if I have prepaid credits or if I'm freeloading at a Wi-Fi hotspot.

NINJA EDIT: Yep, they're available, alright; managed to snuff those .ipa files off iTunes for maximum lulz. Troll

EDIT 2: Managed to get COD Black Ops and Mafia II to work on Wine. Big Grin

In other news, I'm still in a bored mood today, nothing exciting came today besides the C&M-G launch, and a Russian friend of mine's still not releasing version 0.9.3 of his utility.

Yeah, got it. Problem's that the simulator hosted on SFN's still under planning stage.
