Sorry about that, man, about the "shut up" part. I couldn't really help but to go burnt out on your drivel and all. We're both on the same boat - work stress and stuff like that.

Another thing is that I am afraid to post anything related to MLP:FIM out of fear of getting you upset or angry.

Anyway, I'm really starting to hate how some US TV networks feel the need to letterbox their 4:3 standard definition feeds in order to match their 16:9 HD feed. For movies, it's fine, but there are channels that letterbox their content all day long if you watch their SD feed. Depending on the channel, it can look really strange (especially if you stretch all 4:3 content to fill your 16:9 TV set like Anna-Lena), or it can get really annoying.

BabyFirst TV started doing it last month, and now, HSN. HSN isn't too bad, but the product details are now smaller then they were, and the image no longer fills up the entire screen. No big deal. But, BFTV is worse. The main issue with BFTV is that they don't stretch their existing content to fit the 16:9 frame, but instead do it open matte style. Details along the top and bottom of the show's scenery are now cut off and hidden due to the letterboxing. Why not just use a full screen 4:3 SD feed along with your up-and-coming HD feed? There are still people out there who don't have HD capability. Technically, I do, with Anna-Lena being 720p HD capable, but I won't upgrade to full HD until I can find a way to record HD content for my own personal use, whether it would be a BluRay recorder or some sort of strange capture device.

Just great. My car's battery ran out, can't replace or jumpstart because the battery is installed in its trunk, and the lock of the trunk is battery-operated without manual method of opening.

Obvious design flaw is obvious.

It turned out that there's actually a manual method, but in my car's case, it's broken. In the end, a technician was called and he jumpstarted the battery through somewhere under the front passenger seat. In the same day, the battery was replaced and the problem was over.

You should also have the technician fix the manual method of opening the trunk if it's broke. That way, if the battery dies again, you can jumpstart it easily.

Project RetroJasper has begun....

I just need to find the other antennae for the PCI WiFi card and I'm good to go.

Also, my cheapo Ultraman sword decided to break itself. It just spouts random audio garbage instead of "I'M ULTRAMAN!! STRIKE!! COME ON!!!". It's barely a week old. I know it's a cheapo toy from China, but I have a cheapo alien toy laser gun that still works after two years!

I have been tinkering with the sword's innards, and I think I found out why it died on me. Perhaps I can temporarily fix it so I can get a video of the crazy thing going off.

I should have got a video of it after I bought it, but ah well. There are more Pow-Wow's this year, and I am bound on finding another one of these things.

Well, it's Chinese New Year again...

Nothing much to say. Still trying to swallow my fate- ie trying to get the parts needed to rebuild Clementine. From the looks of it, Clementine will remain inoperable up until May...

Introducing the most morbid concept for any Easter-themed candy...

Introducing R.M. Palmer's "My Little Bunny". Obviously a cash in on the My Little Pony craze, but with a bit of Cabbage Patch Kids added in. LETTUCE PATCH BUNNIES

So, you buy these hollow DoubleCrisp® chocolate bunnies in boxes that resemble the little cages that bunnies come in. You can then "adopt" said bunny by going to that website above and making an adoption certificate.

I won't spoil anything here... but think really hard about the concept.

....

Yeah... creepy isn't it?
My post title spoiled it anyway
