Well, in my case, it's either I get Z-fighting artifacts, or sims looking like as if someone cut holes on them with a knife or something.

Yeah, I saw in your screenshots. Ridiculous that EA doesn't want to fix this, but yet enhanced the Mac version, right?

Exactly. 'Tis strange for them to retire the PC version yet they had Aspyr sprinkle up the OS X build and slap a $20 price tag onto it.

If anyone was wondering what that odd gaming console thing I posted above was, let me tell you. Smile It's a portable Super NES Famiclone.... the first commercially released portable SNES Famiclone in the USA.

Newer portable SNES clones have been released since the FC-16 Go, but the original continues to be produced. I found mine for only $70 USD, but I used some in store credit to knock that down to around $53. The battery life is only around four hours, but seeing as how I have Clifford and my portable Sega consoles, this is no big deal. I can also use a TV out cable and AC adapter to make this a full SNES clone system as well, and I plan on testing that out this weekend.

Anyway, have some Spanky's Quest, a sadly underrated Natsume platform game.

I might if I can sniff out a Rev 1.0 release, since that one is known to run on Famiclones due to lack of CIC lockout checks. Most of the USA SMRPG carts contain Rev 1.1, which does have the CIC lockout enabled, and blocking play on Famiclones.

I do have SMRPG on Elsie though. Wink

The real question is, does it have a slot for SD cards filled with downloaded ROMs?

Not as it is, since it's essentially the ever popular Chinese-cloned SNES chipset designed as a portable from the get go. However, a special flash cart called a "Super Powerpak" which allows you to stock ROMs on a CF card and most ROMs work without issue. SuperFX games won't work though due to lack of an actual SuperFX chip.

There is another cart called the SD2SNES, which uses the more standard SD cards, and it can work on a RetroDuo Portable, so that means it will likely work on other clones including my FC-16 Go.

Problem? Both are very expensive, and since I only get homebrew/unlicensed ROMs, I don't see myself purchasing one soon.

What about the Everdrive? It's Ashens endorsed!

Edit: Nevermind. Everdrive only supports DSP. SD2SNES supports most co-processors.
