The Spam Thread!
Not to mention that the Bumblebee project isn't fully mature yet, and you're pretty much stuck with Intel graphics should you convert your laptop to a Hackintosh due to Apple not implementing it on their Macbook line.

I'm glad you and yours are all right, Sandy.

And thank you! It's now my 4 year olds' shared birthday!

Performing a monitor swap. Timothy shall get the HD AOC Monitor I was using with Patsy/Ruby, and they will get my old HP S2031. The S2031 isn't full HD, but it's close at 1680x1050. The AOC monitor has a handy aspect-ratio shortcut button that will make playing older games a bit more visually pleasing. I'm not a fan of stretching 4x3 to 16x9 at all, but I somehow tolerated that in my college years.

I don't mind stretching to 16:9 myself, but as much as possible I'd like to have an option to play games or watch films in widescreen. This sadly isn't the case with most older games, but I'm glad there are some modders who managed to retrofit them to account for newer resolutions, like what ThirteenAG did with the likes of GTA.

Just befriended a fellow Wikia user named Anna, wherein we did some major renovation work (though she was the one who took on most of the dirty work Tongue) on the Strawberry Shortcake Wiki. 'Twas a mess, and since Anna wanted to clean it up so bad, I decided to grant her sysop rights for the site. Wink

I always wanted to help with a Wiki, and maybe even build one too, but it takes a lot of time to do so. You have to clean up articles, fight off trolls and vandalism, and help articles expand too.

And with my new job and my gaming interest, I don't have a lot of time for a Wiki sadly. Maybe someday in the future...

I think most of you know that I am a fan of childrens picture book illustration, and there are several artists that I enjoy. Some have no social media presence, or even a website. Others have a full portfolio website and a social media fan page. It depends on the artist.

For you see, there is this one particular illustrator that I have a sort of obsession over at the moment. I have emailed him some questions in the past, and the artist is a very nice person. I haven't emailed him much afterward as I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable or anything. Naturally, I liked the artists FB fan page which essentially is mostly like said artists public blog.

Yesterday though, I found his main FB account. Random people can't friend the artist, which is a good privacy move, and the posts seem to just elaborate more on the blog. Nothing too personal from what I saw. There is a follow button though, which FB users have to manually enable. Thus, I decided to follow the artists posts there.

Though that particular FB profile is in public view (you can find it with a simple search) and even though there isn't too much personally revealing information, I still feel at times that I may have gone a bit too far in this regard. Should I unfollow the artist, or am I alright? I haven't sent any messages to the artist as I don't see a need to. My questions were answered in said emails after all, and if I had more, I would be too afraid to ask. I don't want to bother the person too much as I mentioned before.
