For those who haven't watched Arthur in a while or at all, in the episode "DW's Perfect Wish", it is revealed that DW's birthday is on the 1st of March, which is today. Smile She turns four, or five. Depending on how one views it.

And yes...I did happen to have a screencap of DW around with a MLP G1 clone. DW isn't too happy, but this is the best I could find in terms of pony-related stuff.

I wonder if one of the writers of "DW's Perfect Wish" had trouble picking out a date for her birthday, so they just thought up of March 1st right away? Either way...it's a good day!
I wish NTV7 would *$#< off and die...
RAMChYLD Wrote:Sounds like there's not enough power going into the drive. The reason a drive may need two ports is simple- the second USB plug is used purely for drawing power and no data goes through it. Most USB hubs limit the amount of power going out to a device. For flash drives and input devices, this isn't a problem since they're low power devices.
Ah, that makes sense.
DNF DLC completed.

Now to find something else I can wallow my sorrows in.

Also...

ALICORN ALERT!
Fans of "Moose A. Moose" and "Zee" of Nick Jr. were saddened yesterday when Nick Jr. unveiled an entirely new graphics package, regulating the duo to the history books.

Sad

Sad. I didn't have it in my head to actually record those Moose A. Moose/Zee bits. I think I have some with my Little Bear recordings, but not much.
Well, those two were already legacy brought over from Noggin, so it's understandable that Nick Jr wanted to trash them. Heck, I've never seen the duo when Nick Jr launched in Malaysia.
I currently feel like I cannot be autistic because
  • I am too stupid
  • I am too social
  • I am not really obsessive, or at least I don't think I am
My autistic friends over the age of, um, ten all seem so much smarter than me...

All right, exaggeration. They don't all seem so much smarter than me. They seem either so much smarter or so much odder, or both.

Autistic people are supposed to be specialized geniuses and/or strange folks, not dry-witted feminine friendly pink-collar excitable extroverted non-specialized ladies who are barely technologically advanced past the 1800s -

- though I would ironically be considered specialized if living in the 1800s or earlier. I'm still too stuuuuuuuupid, though. Cry
No, you're not stupid. You're outstanding! Big Grin
So today was supposed to be a big day. They were suppose to premer My Little Pony:Friendship Is Magic on NTV7 today.

Now, I never trusted this channel. Haven't forgiven them for cancelling Arthur mid-season, haven't forgiven them for royally screwing up Caillou big-time, and royally screwing up Hamtaro.

I've also already got my aunt to tell Hasbro to not deal with this channel given my history, but Hasbro insisted on that channel for some reason.

I think you could guess what happened next: Instead of airing the premier of MLP:FIM, they aired the premier of some show about witchcraft called Lily the Witch instead. To add salt on the wound, the on-screen guide still shows "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic".

It's bad enough that I live too far from Singapore to get TCS Okto and no Pay TV here carry Boomerang, but MLP:FIM got screwed over even before the first episode of the show aired. It takes the joke of Fox screwing over shows within seconds in Futurama and cranks it up to 11.

NTV7 screwed over a show before it even aired.

I'm very sad now. I feel wronged again. In fact, I feel like killing myself again. This is not right. Not right...

Also, I don't like what they're doing to Fluttershy in the upcoming episode. They don't understand the implications of corrupting her personality and the impact it will have on the universe, time and space. But there's nothing I can do, since I legally don't get the show, and thus am not entitled to feedback.

I really wish I was dead now. There's no point in life anymore.

Hasbro, I already told you not to go with NTV7, but NOOOOO, you won't listen! Yuo say you have confidence in NTV7!

You know what happened today? YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TODAY?!?

Today was supposed to be the premiere of MLP:FIM in Malaysia. And the channel you chose to air the show on ditched the MLP:FIM in the last second!

What came on instead was some stupid show about witchcraft. Lily the Witch I think it's called. And to add salt to the wound, the show ID displayed during the airing of the show still reads "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".

I hope you're happy now. Not only did NTV7 cheated you, but I'm still denied of MLP:FIM officially. I already told my aunt to warn you and she said she did, but apparently you or your Malaysian branch officer was overconfident that it wouldn't happen. Look at what happened now.

And I'm very, very disappointed at how you're corrupting Fluttershy in the upcoming episode. But that probably won't matter to you because I'm just a fan of the franchise (albeit one who's a fan since My Little Pony Tales and who've watched MLP since childhood), and not one of those "bronies" who're supposedly the one throwing money at you. Apparently my effort to buy all the toys and even importing the ones that your Malaysian branch has said that they're not bringing in means nothing to you.

I'm very sad now. I just had a depression tantrum. You have made me very upset Hasbro. Very, very upset.

I wanted to say that I also feel suicidal right now, but chickened out in the last minute.
