Looooooooooooooool! I finally got to have a bunch of rogue registry cleaner sites suspended by their webhost. I came across the said sites while I was browsing for some stuff on Yahoo! Answers, and noticed that some of the answers seem suspicious, saying that it could be a registry problem, when it's fairly obvious that the problem has little or nothing to do with the Windows registry, and that to solve it you need to visit this site and download some shady registry cleaner.

Fortunately the host did respond quickly to my inquiry, and while he did tell me that the malware in question is just plain disreputable and not that destructive, he complied to my request after a couple hours or so.

Oh, and here's a quoted "answer" from a spambot, just in case you guys come across this whenever you're asking for something regarding PC problems:

That reminds me of another ad I constantly see while browsing sites with Lilly...ads for some program called "Mac Keeper". Like the shady registry cleaning app, this claims the same thing. I remember reading a review somewhere that the program is very slow and is essentially just a front-end for various functions that are already included with Mac OS-X or that you can get yourself for free, such as Antivirus.

So Grapes...if you ever see "Mac Keeper" ads, avoid clicking on them and downloading the app.

I think it's a little bit funny , but it does get a point across. Depression is awful. I sometimes feel depressed when things don't go right, but Depression's party in my brain never lasts too long before he gets the boot and I feel happy again.

Alright...my NEXT post will be about Wendell, his 1 year birthday celebration, and Chrysanthemum waking up from her long slumber to help me out.

You can say that again. And the worst thing is, in my case, the fits sometimes come at the worst possible time- all it takes is for me to interpret something the wrong way and take it personally, or even let my imagination snowball a worst-case scenario simulation into a disaster of epic proportions.

Prue, at least you have a loving husband and great kids to back you when you feel down. Be thankful for that.
